Box Table 2 features exposed traditional joinery throughout and displays strong geometric forms. The conspicuous finger joints, while traditionally used for centuries in fine furniture, were chosen not only for their incredible strength, but also for their complimentary geometry.

The 2 boxes comprising the table top are "stitched" together in a whimsical, questioning and celebratory reference to craft. The structure of the table and the rigidity of the boxes are intended to highlight the phenomenal strength of our unique native timbers.
