Box Table 1 |
| The design of Box Table
uses the geometry of various types of traditional joinery to complement
the overall form of the piece. The relatively uniform grain pattern
of the Tasmanian Myrtle provides a homogenous background for which
to highlight this joinery. The most striking grain pattern in the timbers used was the end grain of the American Oak, which was featured on the top of the box. |
